What is the SkinTRUST® Dermatologist Approved Certification Program?

The SkinTRUST® is the first dermatologist developed American safety and efficacy standard for all consumer skin care products. This is the only certification program that utilizes a standardized application developed by dermatologists to evaluate the entire breadth of consumer skin care products.

Why should a company submit their products to the SkinTRUST Society® for certification?

Validate your products and align them with the real skin care experts by achieving the SkinTRUST Society’s® Dermatologist Approved Seal. Since cosmetics are not required to undergo premarket approval in America, there is no way for consumers and prescribers to know which brands conduct relevant safety tests, which use quantified or standardized ingredients, which make efficacy claims based on scientifically valid studies, which have accurate consumer labels, and so forth. The SkinTRUST® Seal ensures that consumers and prescribers know that your product meets these standards and more.
